Natural Resource Management
Paul Marshall, Principal of Triple BL Consulting has expertise in Natural Resource Management, Training and Community Development, spanning the Landcare, Catchment Management and Environment sectors in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia; and across Local Government, the not-for-profit sector, and private enterprise.
His NRM project management experience encompasses project design, submission preparation and administration, project coordination and reporting, covering riparian rehabilitation, revegetation nursery design and establishment, erosion mitigation, integration of training and work experience programs into NRM, contract management and event management.
Paul managed one of Queensland’s largest and most active Landcare groups – Gympie & District Landcare from 1998-2008, overseeing a major period of expansion of the group. This includes establishing the group’s revegetation nursery, the innovative Bio-control Agent Mass Rearing Operation, a consulting and contracting unit, and an NRM training and education unit. Training and development
Paul Marshall was a key player in establishing the Gympie Regional Employment and Training Network in 1999, as a collaboration between the local Council, the TAFE College and various community NGOs which delivered a diverse portfolio of training services.
Paul designed a range of training programs which were delivered through;
- The Community Employment Assistance Program,
- The Community Jobs Plan
- Community Training Partnerships Program, as well as;
- The New Apprenticeship Access Program
- First Start Traineeships
- Green Corps
- Work for the Dole
- Gympie & District Landcare remained an active participant in these programs through to 2008.
